The Firm receives a new award for our contribution to a better world
Yesterday, July 14th 2020, was a very special day for the whole Auxadi team. The company was recognized as the “Most socially committed company” in Spain, thanks to its Charity Indoor Soccer Tournament, which last year was aimed to help Fundación Aprender to cover the educational needs of kids affected by learning difficulties and their families.
The prize endowed with one thousand euros (1,000 euros), was added to the 39,280 euros obtained through contributions from all the teams that participated, private donations and the match making contribution made by the Firm itself.
Lidia Lopez, Head of Talent Management collected the award in an online ceremony during which she highlighted “Auxadi’s Tournament represents an initiative through which we give back to our community part of what we have received. Moreover, through our initiative we intend to impact others, companies and individuals, to keep helping and contributing to a better world. We all have something clear, a team effort creates a higher impact than working alone. We all can help. Let’s do it”.
The donation will help finance a project at BrotMadrid School, which is primarily aimed at children with learning disorders (LSD) such as dyslexia, dyscalculia or ADD, among others. The school seeks to ensure that all children achieve learning success through its own innovative methodology that not only seeks to reach curricular objectives and cognitive development, but also to promote the psycho-affective stability of the students and their competitive skills.
