AUXADI, a leader and 100% independent firm in outsourcing services in accounting, tax compliance and international payroll, has held at its Madrid headquarters a new edition of its Internationalization Breakfasts, under the theme ‘The CFO in the face of expansion in Latin America: challenges and keys in the legal, tax and accounting fields’.
During the presentation, which was attended by more than 50 people including professionals from the financial environment of the main Spanish companies, law firms and clients. The most important challenges presented by the CFO in the expansion processes in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico in the legal, tax and accounting fields were discussed.
Victor Salamanca Cuevas, Auxadi’s CEO, introduced the conference by highlighting some of the figures that makes this group of countries, and Latin America as a whole, a scenario “most interesting for companies, both European and North American and especially Spanish, that seek to grow through international presence. Both for the economic growth projections for the next two-years period, which are between 2% and 3%, as well as for the number of markets that can be accessed once established on the continent, which exceeds twenty”.
The main part of the conference focused on technical presentations by Auxadi’s Country Managers, and on the specifics of doing business in these countries. From the different legal entities existing in each market, to the different taxes, particularities, similarities and complexities.
The event also counted with the participation of Ironhack, the international school specialized in technology, also client of the firm, who shared with the guests the details of their own internationalization and the different difficulties they faced in such process.
To conclude, attendees were able to learn more about Auxadi’s MultiCountry Platform, a technology solution developed together with Microsoft, which allows to manage accounting, taxes and payroll of all subsidiaries of the companies at an international level in the same space, standardizing processes and procedures.
