News from Mexico on the update of electronic invoicing CFDI Version 4.0 and the new rules in the Miscellaneous Tax Resolution for 2022. Further to the information we previously shared, Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT) has released a draft of the second round of modifications.
Due to the large number of incidents and difficulties raised in the implementation of V4.0, companies will have an additional period for the preparation and implementation of the new vouchers.
Article 3.13.31 extends the implementation deadline to issue tax receipts (CFDIs) until 30 June 2022. Both Versions 3.3 and 4.0 will coexist during this two-month period.
