The Peruvian Labour Authorities (MTPE) approved the 2015 Labour Action Plan, which aims to strengthen the capability of the labour sector to comply with local regulations.
The aforementioned plan states the need of auditing 15,750 companies concerning payroll processing.
The plan faces three main objectives: to promote productivity improvements to comply with labour regulations; to improve incentives to formality and, to strength the audit of the Superintendencia Nacional de Fiscalización Laboral (Sunafil).
Moreover, it would promote groups of discussions to improve the implementation of the labour informality strategy made by MTPE within the “Comisión de Economía Informal del Consejo Nacional de Trabajo.
Another point of interest would be the combined action between Sunafil, Sunat, Essalud and regional governments.
